Rolling Library Ladder on 2000mm Spliced Track
The AA200155 series is a wooden rolling ladder supplied with a 2000 mm spliced aluminium track. Twin roller hangers at the head let the ladder run the length of the rail and lift off when the room needs clearing, while castors at the foot keep the base moving with it.
Four heights share the same track and hardware, so a project can order different heights for different rooms and still hold one visual standard across the building.

Construction Detail
Twin roller hanger
Each stile head carries a black plate with two rollers. Two contact points per side stop the ladder tipping in the rail when weight moves to one edge of a tread.
Stile slots and fixings
Slots cut through the stile lighten the ladder and give a hand hold when it is being lifted off the rail. Treads are through-bolted rather than nailed.

What track length is supplied?
2000 mm as standard, shipped as spliced sections that join end to end. For a longer shelving run, tell us the total length and we will quote the additional track.
Which model code do I order?
The code follows the height: AA20015501 is 2200 mm, 02 is 2438 mm, 03 is 2743 mm and 04 is 3048 mm. All four use the same 2000 mm track and hardware.
Why two rollers per side?
A single roller lets the ladder rock in the rail when a climber shifts weight sideways. Twin rollers hold the stile square and spread the load along the track.
Can the ladder be lifted off the rail?
Yes. The hangers sit on the rail rather than being captive in it, so the ladder can be removed when the room is being cleared or redecorated.
Is the track wall mounted or shelf mounted?
Either. Tell us the substrate and the fixing height and the bracket arrangement is confirmed on the drawing before production.
Do the castors mark a timber floor?
Tell us the floor finish when you order. Castor type is selected against the floor it will run on, which is not something to leave until the ladder arrives.
