The pair folds back on a 1016 mm rail instead of sweeping into the room, so it suits openings where a swing door would collide with fixtures.
The finished door measures 914 x 2134 mm and is 30 mm thick. Each leaf is 457 mm wide, so the two panels fold to roughly half the closed width and stack clear of the doorway.

Half the wall run
A sliding barn door needs clear wall beside the opening equal to its own width. This bifold folds instead, so the rail stays close to the opening.

Hardware Detail
Hanger and top track
Wheel hangers bolt through the top rail of the frame and run on a flat black rail. The rail is drilled for wall or header fixing at set centres.
Floor guide
A low-profile floor guide keeps the base of the leading leaf on its running line and stops the panel swinging away from the wall.
Pull handle
A square-section bar handle is fitted to the leading stile, finished to match the black frame so the door reads as one piece.
Centre fold stile
The two leaves meet at a hinged centre stile. Closed, the joint is a narrow black line; open, it is the pivot the pair folds around.

Does the track mount to the wall or the ceiling?
